MoongDal with RawMango |
MoongDal with RawMango is a mixed dry curry easy to eat .
Ingredients:
- Moong dal - 1 cup
- RawMango - 1 medium size (grated)
- Turmeric - a pinch for color
- Salt - to taste(depends)
- Redchilli powder - 1 spoon
- Green Chillis - 3 pieces
For Tempering: (you can increase or decrease quantity to your taste)
- Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Red chillis - 3 or 4(depends)
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida - a pinch for good smell
- Curry leaves - 1 bunch(most imp for me)
Preparations:
Cook moongdal till it was halfboiled but not mashed to make a dry curry and add grated raw mango,green chillis pieces,redchilli powder,turmeric powder and salt to it. Taste the mix and cook until the moongdal and mango were cooked perfectly and all the water becomes dry.Now use another bowl for tempering and add all the tempering ingredients one after the other until they turn to golden brown and add to the dal mix.Mix until all the tempering is perfect and change it to the serving bowl and the moongdal mango curry is ready to eat..
